Finding inspiration in the colours and textures of the natural environment and an overwhelming curiosity for nomadic tribes, has been the inspiration for a range of hand framed and hand knitted garments designed by Marilyn Thomas.

Marilyn combines old, traditional techniques such as fair isle in contemporary fabrics and designs, with a particular interest in the construction and making process which inspires a sense of place and memory.

Using natural fibres, some of which are hand dyed, she creates a collection of felted chunky jackets, shawls, shrugs and bags together with a range of pure cotton tops.
